Whether you like Mika or not, or even heard of him...this man puts on a gooooood show.
It's 2:00 p.m. the day after and the thrill of last night's concert is still electrifying my spine. He's kind of a 2008 pop version of a European David Cassidy...and the audience showed as much... as it was made of hundreds of teeny bopper high school kids, and us. I didn't care. In fact, I like to be one of them sometimes. It's fun to scream and swoon and jump up and down in a crowd. I didn't even care that the show was delayed 2 and 1/2 hours as we waited outside in the cold. And I didn't care that the show itself only ran 45 minutes because of this and that complication.
I've heard people talk about good concerts they go to, and I just nod my head. It's really a "you had to be there" thing, isn't it? I just had to express something to my world about it, because it was seriously one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

Here's a little thing my sister put together about our night. You can click on the videos for short clips and then hit the "zoom in" on the right corner.

Hey, I think I am going to join the fan club now! I should have gone! I hate when I have regrets...remember "Everybody is gonna love today!"
David Cassidy, eh? I expected Freddie Mercury comparisons, but certainly not that. I'm glad you got to boogie and swoon with the rest of 'em. Music is almost always a welcome release.
