New Year's Eve

This was my New Year's Eve... About 25 of us spent the night at a cabin in the woods.
Linda the Enchantress, Dave the "Going to be a good Dad" man
It was an incredibly comfortable cabin.
Melanie dancing
Georgia is in love-fire like me. She went around hugging everyone.
Dinner was organic, healthy, and serendipitous in the fact that no one was assigned anything specific, but everyone brought something, and with no repeats
This was the moment where I realized more than ever that Georgia and I have a lot in common, that Dave is definitely someone I can learn a thing or two from, and that I must see Linda again before the week is through.
Look at this woman!
And these women! (Heather, Nicole, Johanna)
Tim and I spent over an hour doing everyone's dishes by hand, only to discover the next morning that there was a dishwasher.
Lounging by the fireplace.

It was freezing up there. I'm so proud of my Subaru, "Little Eunice the Sweet Ride", for not complaining once.

John (left) was our perfect host and energy god. And Kent (right) has perfect, soft intensity about him.
At midnight, after a beautiful group meditation, we danced.
I got lost in it...I wonder if I'll ever get all the dance in me out.
Around 1:00 a.m., some people went on a moonlit walk.
I want to thank Heather for taking all these amazing mountain photos!

Singing "Sing Out, Wild Bells" around the piano. A quite eerie song, actually.

John, Krystal, and Melanie were amazing drummers

The next morning...

We have some beautiful yogis in the group.

As Chris made us breakfast, Heather discovered that she forgot about the bubbly she put in the freezer for the night before.

New Year's Day, I joined my siblings and my girl Tanya for snow tubing. We'll see if I can snag a couple of those photos for next time.
I have to say, this New Year's celebration has manifest Abundance, in abundance.

Skye and Emily...

These are two or three groups of friends that exploded in fireworks together just for the evening.

I've made myself extremely available in the last two months. I've made it my priority to make good friends here.

One of the best days for me was when a group of 8-10 women met at a spa for the evening. While we were in the sauna, one of my new friends said to the others, "Ladies, this is Emily. She just moved here, and she's one of us now." They have accepted me wholeheartedly from that moment, and it has completely warmed my heart.

It's not at all like when I moved in junior high.

This what life is all about- supporting, loving, laughing, playing, creating and embracing our Divinity on a daily basis. Bring in the New Year and keep it fresh everyday!!
