My Christmas Experiences

I spent the last eight days housesitting and taking care of two sweet dogs, Buddy and June.

I'm in Utah now visiting my siblings! We decided not to do presents this year... Instead, any money we would have spent is going toward "Christmas Experiences". Today is day two...I hope to share snapshots of my days with you here.

Singing and teaching about lyrics/poetry in Miss D'Arcy Benincosa's eighth grade classroom. Rebecca came up and joined D'Arcy and me for lunch.

Rebecca and my first homemade gingerbread man

Our Gingerbread Wildlife Conservation Center (each year we build something different!)

Today we also took cans of food to the Utah Food Bank, and stuffed animals to the Toys for Tots drive.

More fun times to come....!

I think everybody is having their first gingerbread experience this year. I did my first gingerbread houses, Emily did her first gingerbread men, and YOU did your first! Any other gingerbread experiences out there?
