That stepping stone comment hurt me because it felt like a put down to the man I love.
I become awake when two people come together and talk about things that matter. This is one of my love languages. All this time I've allowed anonymous comments here in the belief that some of you are shy or unsure of the power of your voice in the world. And I've believed so much in what you have to say that I've enabled you here by patting your anonymous head and saying, "It's ok...go ahead and just speak your truth. That's all that matters."
But the truth is you're all big boys and girls. It's time to learn how to sign your name to the words you add to the world.
Yes, this is just a stupid little comment box on an insignificant blog in cyberland. But it might be a good idea to start somewhere like a comment box. The world at large needs your voice.
So I challenge you to trust your name more than the safety of anonymity.
Goodbye, Anonymous. If you decide not to take my challenge, I suppose our conversations are over.

He's a stepping stone to finding the right man. Love is wonderful!

I've decided not to allow anonymous comments.

Shame.
Amen sister!
I'm a big Chris fan. Fan Dann I am.
love is good =0)
I am much amused, by many things:
*All your peeps loving the same person as you, simply because you love him
*Letting go of Anonymous and demanding ownership!
*Your post itself had no words (not including title), yet you've gotten so many words from others! No doubt "A picture is worth..." yadda yadda. :)
*Love languages. I miss yours.
This has become a pretty significant comment box.
It all started out on the court for me and C, but I love the guy too!
Good for you, Emily.
