Shhh...it's quiet time.

In respect and LOVE LOVE LOVE for you, I'd like to let you know that I'm temporarily closing my blog. It won't be for long. I could just not post anything new, but I know it could be annoying to continually check someone's blog for a long time and see the same stuff.


When I get back, I'm going to tell you more about my "Poverty Eradication for Indian Children" fundraising project. (It's for the incredible school at the George Foundation where I volunteered last year in India. They have never asked for external help until now, so I know the need has become serious.) I'll be asking you to give an online dollar to match the $1,500 I'm donating. And because I know your dollar bill is precious to you, I'm giving you this quiet downtime on my blog to think about that dollar, kiss it goodbye, and give it to this fundraiser.

And please don't give more $1.00. This is an experiment in my faith in our global family. So if you're planning to be all generous and stuff and give $2.00, (HOLY COW! with gas prices so high and all! You're amazing!), I would feel better if you give that extra dollar to another cause who needs you too.

I have no doubt whatsoever that I will hand over $3,000 to the Shanti Bhavan School. You must know that I rarely sign my name to anything. I take that act very seriously. You'll hardly even hear me recommend a movie.

I sign my name to the George Foundation. And so do the Mormon and Catholic churches, if that helps. :) They give annual donations.
