Ok, most of the time WE were laughing and (slightly, endearingly) mocking. How did they get belt buckles to get that big? How did the Miss Rodeo Queen contestant get her boots to be the same shade of teal as her wranglers? Are there really 13,000 people in the stands tonight?! Do you think any of them will vote for Obama? These are the mind boggling questions of the evening. We surrendered ourselves to them all and found ourselves in pure bewildering yeehaw joy.

That reminds me of some of the questions I posed the time I went to the MOTORcycle rodeo. Although, I didn't see anyone there with perfectly matching jeans/boots. Unless they were both black leather. I did, however, see many shirtless old people who hadn't bathed in a very long time. The BO was overwhelming.
