I'm going home.

I get up at 5:30 a.m., work an 8 hour day, and then play in Salt Lake within a myriad of celebratory moments until almost midnight. And then do it again. And again and then some more. I've been doing that for months now. It's been a blast...

But it's time to slow down a bit. It's time to NOT go to an Oregon coast beach house, or to Tokyo, Japan, or art galleries, or music festivals, or your Sunday evening house party. It's time to cancel my band practice tonight. It's time to go home and read my overdue library book all night under the covers.

See ya.

Staying home curled up reading is one of the best things one can do for themselves. Its amazing how some quiet me time really is so powerful.
