Hello from our hostel in Kyoto!
We just arrived here and had a sensational dinner and I found the internet open in the bar here. I'm surrounded with backpackers speaking all sorts of languages. Beautiful people... beautiful travelers all here for their own purposes of living their most alive time. I love the traveling world.
We've left Tokyo after several wondrous days of big city life, 2 hour subway rides across town, and lots of little corner ramen/katsu joints to discover. We're camera happy 'round here, so you can look forward to some happy photos.
I love this life...I am full of thoughts of who I am and who I am becoming as I turn 31 in a few days. I love that I came to this country at this time with these people. I'm also discovering quite a bit more about the specifics of creation. Suffice it to say that we have a lot more power in our reality than we'd like to believe.
I love you and I'll talk to you later,
Emily

I look forward to seeing pics!
After being on vacation with your family for the past three years, it seems odd to miss one, but I am all Asia-ed out! Can't wait to hear your stories!!!
I'm thinking of you. I hope you have a great trip (I'm sure you will)!
Hey Em, I am starting to itch for an actual phone call--well actually to see each other in person but you know...perhaps once you get "settled" back in the states we can set up a time? Have a wonderful Birthay.
ps every time I see the moon I automatically say hi to you...
