Mom and Dad came to visit us from Korea this past weekend. We had a "Thanksmas" evening, as they won't be here for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. We tried to get a normal family photo...but we don't seem capable of being normal.

We laughed so hard during pumpkin pie that I seriously couldn't breathe. At one point, my parents wondered if we were adopted. "How did you guys get to be so weird?" I think one of them said.

Michael gives a good hug now and then, but he shows affection more commonly with high fives in all their variety. It's amazing to watch Michael and Eleanor. They'll sit on the couch and slap hands for 10 minutes at a time during a conversation.
I dig the fam.

maybe your parents were adopted, because you four are definitely ALL blood kin there....and you are wonderfully weird! I dig it too!
We'll talk about Xanadu tomorrow!
DUDE. *I* like your fam too! isn't it amazing how parents kind of grow into their adult kids? I swear sometimes when I am telling a story to my parents and when I was a kid they would get angry, but now they just laugh. It's the most fun to be a grown up kid of parents.
