I love Michigan

Emily, Keith, and Dakota helped me adore Grand Rapids, Michigan!Um, I don't know what I'm doing. What else do you do when you're surrounded by jungle flora?
This kid LOVES to laugh. Oh my gosh, we had such a blast. I knew he had a cold, but I couldn't help but want to play all the time with him. So, (*sniff*, *cough*) he passed on his love to me.
I mean, look at this place! This was taken standing at a gas station. Michigan looks like it's blinking its eyes flirtatiously, just waiting to get its picture taken.
Both Skye and Emily have explained to me that all social inhibitions prudent for public behavior go out the window when you have a baby. Anything goes to see that baby smile.
I love this girl. She's such a good listener. She's such an incredible homemaker, wife and mommy. I'm so impressed. And she values seeing the best in every situation, even if she hates cold winters! Everyone send her lots of warmth! (In your own way...blog updates, packages, emails, phone calls...)

I loved this day. We cuddled up in sweaters, ate lunch near this apple orchard, and went home with a homemade apple/raspberry pie

This darling boy gets fed the best, most nutritious fruits and vegetables. He loves broccoli!

It was fun to see the whole Neaman family work together. Keith comes home from work and loves to throw this kid around. Dakota loves his daddy. He "jumps" up and down every time he sees him.
I attempted to take the perfect picture of the nightly routine of story time. I felt bad because Dakota kept looking more at his photographer than the book. Luckily, we got one great photo!

Emily, this trip was fabulous. I can't wait to start that painting for Dakota's room!
