Health Disneyland

I was just on a chat with a friend about the gifts I got for my 30th birthday. He encouraged me to share...


me: I got a trip to Vermont for a week with my family, which was very cool, and an appointment with a homeopathic doctor to cure me of the worms I picked up in India. [smile]

W: I presume worms were more than expected

me: um, yeah, the doctor said I held the record for round worms... more than he's ever seen! 85 species of them. (I know, gross, but very fascinating..) and now I have none! It's crazy because we all have worms actually just by the things we eat. Especially pork.

W: wow, that is super interesting

me: seriously, going to a homeopathic doctor is like going to Health Disneyland. They have rides and cotton candy and everything. It's so whacked that you think you might be in a Beatles' mystery tour photo shoot. But yet, you can't not want to come back and see it again. It's worth it just for the entertainment value actually.

W: You need to write that in your blog. I really enjoyed reading that just now [smile]

me: [smile]ha ha!

me: I believe it was the best b-day gift ever.
