Two years ago I watched a documentary about her. She's called the "Hugging Saint" because she goes on world tours to literally hug the world. She starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 a.m., hugging a new individual every two to three seconds.
Amma was in Bangalore for two days. I wanted a divine hug.

Alicia and I were invited to have the honor to sit on the stage with Amma.
On the stage, live music played, people around me meditated in all white, and I watched Amma embrace men, women and children.

I wasn't allowed to take photos of Amma herself.
I was in the presence of this beautiful woman for several hours, and I came away from her and her hug feeling completely inspired. I want to love people the way she loves.

She's built hospitals and universities. She donated $23 million to tsunami victims. And that's when she's not on her world hugging tour, which she's been doing for 20 years.
I want to give hugs like THAT.
