Missoula, Montana

Kelli started it all out for me with a three day unforgettable vacation.

Kelli and my Kabo. Kelli is the one who taught me to love cats. I've been allergic to them, until I met Kabo. Now I can't get enough of this cat, and my allergic reactions are mostly gone.
July 30

Feather and Rick, my Montana cowboy couple, took me on an afternoon ride through the beautiful wilderness of the mountains.

I couldn't claim to have lived in Montana for a year if I hadn't gone horseback riding at least once! I loved every minute.

August 3-5
New York City

Meeting up with my friend, Jenn, downtown New York City. She’s been there only two months and she’s already got the NYC look going on.

D'Arcy and I watched a broadway show called, "The Faith Healer" starring Cherry Jones and Ralph Fiennes! Yay for famous people that I don't know anything about!

You will never meet a bigger fan of Broadway.

This is some random guy on the street who said, “Excuse me, if you’re going to pose in front of this photo, you have to get a bit more excited than that.” So I said, “Jump on in here and show me how it’s done.”

New York continues to be one of the most magical places on earth for me.

Greenwich Village. Location of several important scenes in my upcoming novel.

I saw my Skye. It was a true miracle... surrounded by her sisters and mother, I was able to present to her a ceremony to celebrate the upcoming birth of her sweet baby.

A huge surprise... all of a sudden in the middle of Central Park, I see Kaarina running toward me! And there was a very smiley, very in love Forrest.

The Universe blessed with me with a reunion with two of my sisters. We all just happened to be in the same place at the same time across the country? And in New York City! Oh the magic continues...

Massachusetts

D’Arcy and I met up with Mom and Daniel at Walden Pond, Massachusetts. I liked the book...I didn’t love it. But I loved being here and seeing where it all happened.

My dearest D’Arcy surrounded by one of her greatest loves in one of her favorite stores.

New York City

Seinfeld is the only show I occasionally watch. I ate three pancakes for $5.00 here my last morning in NY.
Los Angeles
August 8

Then on to Los Angeles! This is my grandfather. He cooked every night for us.

Mom, Daniel and I were together again for this trip. We went to visit my grandmother's grave.
This L.A. trip was like my own personal resort. I went swimming in the backyard every day, had three delicious meals, read, slept, and was surrounded by family. It was a perfect way to prepare myself for being far from home and quite busy in India.
