I am so happy to be here in New Jersey. Seriously, the thrill of traveling vibrates in my blood. I love knowing that I'll sleep in a bed tonight that I've never slept in before and probably never will again. There's something so delicious about that for me. And tomorrow, I'll look out the window at a view I've never seen before, and see how everyday people live... and I'll watch them, and love them, and smile because of them. Mmmm.... I'm so in love right now. With everything. I feel rich and present and healthy and young and vibrant and.... mmmmm..... eternal. I feel awake and alive, like I know a secret. Like I'm living outside of a dream and I'm watching everyone else sleep, and loving them. I love the way a woman today scratched the side of her leg. I loved watching a little boy run and jump on his sister. I love how stressed out this business man got when he missed his connecting flight. I love how calm the airport crewman was when dealing with a million questioning travelers.
I love life. And life is people.

You know every brush stroke in the the Picture Alive... few can claim that. I am so excited for you to meet NY.
Well-written post. And yes, people watching and traveling are great things to do. So many lessons can be learned from both. Enjoy your travels.
I want to see you! I'm back in New York now. When can I see my sweet friend Emily???
and you just keep lovin life honey! much love and light to you!
I'm so thankful I got to see New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Boston through your senses....ahhh...with your dreads swinging and mimicking every gesture of your white skirt. Your eyes as they widen when you are about to dance, your shoulder carrying that brown bag, and the movement of our conversations...steady like the train, fast and bumpy like the Fung Wah bus, and swerving and twirling like the roads of Concord. I love you Em!
