I get paid to blog.

As often as I can, I work as a substitute teacher in the school district.



The last couple of posts (including this one) have been done in the schools. I promise I'm not being a slacker! For example, there is a guest teacher who came in today to do a project with the kids. And see, there's this open and willing computer... right here. So I'm sitting in the back of the classroom right now as a completely useless entity.

On Wednesday (the "I feel pretty" day) the student I was supposed to tutor didn't show, so I had a free hour, and a computer. There's a block on the school computers prohibiting access to email accounts. How fun, though, that I get to hear and see all about your lives anyway. I shall write another ode...
