Wildlife

This is a beautiful campus. Today I walked to school over the footbridge and the view to my left stopped my heart for a moment.

A river runs along the side of campus, and mountains speckled with forest shoot up right... there. Deer are everywhere. Yesterday downtown I saw two white-spotted fawns with their mother, eating a neighbor's bush in the frontyard.

I've been told that in the fall until the beginning of winter, bear and mountain lion come down through the streets of the city, but no Missoulian seems to be too bothered about that fact...





and they tell me that I need not to worry either. I'm doing good so far, except when the wind tossles my teepee late at night.
