Dedicated to my desert goddesses...

Four days before I flew to Korea I went on a spiritual retreat in the Utah desert. I met incredible women from all around the country...we gathered from Alaska, Maryland, California, Oregon...on top of a hill, kissed by the fading sunset, I wrote this song.

Livin'
Music and Lyrics by Emily Potter

1st VERSE:

Give me your colors
tear through your lies
Let me breathe you tonight.
Burn me in flames
and I promise I'll burn you with mine.

CHORUS:

'Cause honey, you know where you're goin'
and you're hot, baby, from where you've been.
You're so cool in your own skin
'cause it's your life you're livin'...
and you're livin'.

2nd VERSE:

I can see you don't mess around
waiting for your lines.
You've got too many moments
to be found.
So show me your passions
and please, don't be kind.

REPEAT CHORUS.

BRIDGE:

And I stand here as your sister,
as your equal, as your mirror.
And I know so much about you,
I can see me in your eyes.

3rd VERSE:

So give me your colors
as we feast below this sky.
Let me celebrate you tonight!
Play me your music
and wash me in your light.

REPEAT CHORUS
